Dr. Kevin Lunnie completed his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degrees concurrently while at Queen’s University, graduating in 1999. A year later he completed his Bachelor of Education, also at Queen’s University. He continued his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto Ontario, garnering clinical proficiency honours while earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2005. Dr. Lunnie is a fully certified Active Release Techniques® practitioner, as well as being a certified Level 1 Graston Technique® provider.
Dr. Lunnie continues to model a healthy and active lifestyle competing in lacrosse and running for fitness. His pursuits have allowed him to play professional lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League during the 2001 and 2003 seasons, and compete in the 2005 Boston Marathon. Since 2006, in addition to playing for the Senior A Salmonbellies, Dr. Lunnie has volunteered his time with the New Westminster Salmonbellies Jr. A Lacrosse and New Westminster Hyacks Varsity Football teams as team chiropractor and athletic trainer. Continuing with his teaching experience, Dr. Lunnie has spoken to several running, triathlon, and business groups around the lower mainland on the avoidance and management of overuse injuries associated with sports as well as the workplace.
